In celebration of these wonderfully joyful, festive and lively doggies, and our own rescue corgi-mix’s Gotcha-Day, here is a round-up of canine books, facts and more- starring corgis and all pups!
Well, this past Wednesday marked the fourth anniversary of when we adopted our little Abby Rose! She was picked up after a long journey from Mississippi (that’s right, she’s a southern belle originally!) on November 20th, 2015.
As a rescue, Abby and her six siblings were adopted near and far, as was her mama! We’re so glad we chose to adopt a rescue-there’s so many dogs in need of homes, and we were happy to give Abby a forever one!
Well, Abby is a corgi mix-more mix than corgi, but she’s still got a fair amount of corgi looks and personality in her small pooch self!
Anyways, this got me around to thinking why we don’t have a post starring Corgis on our blog!
Fun-loving, feisty Corgis are known for their long bodies, happy expressions, history as a herder breed, and life-of-the-party attitude!
Queen Elizabeth’s favorite dog breed is corgis, and she still has them to this day!
